Overview

The objective of the award is to assist a student currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy & Astrophysics program to travel abroad to attend scientific meetings and/or to work with astronomers at another institution on some chosen research project of direct relevance to the thesis work being undertaken.

Eligibility:

  • Open to all nationalities.
  • Applicants must be full-time current Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics (RSAA) Ph.D. students. 
  • A successful candidate is not permitted to apply again.

Value:

The successful applicant will receive an award of AUD 5,000 per year. One off payment. Up to $5,000 via reimbursement only.
