Aim of the Scholarship:

Airbus New Zealand Limited hasmadethisscholarship available to students enrolled in Year Two of the NMIT Certificate in Aviation Engineering as a demonstration ofits commitment to the aviation industry and in memoriamof a valued Airbus employee and an ex-NMIT student, Miles Hunter. The scholarship is designed to assist students with course fees and to provide an opportunity through Airbus New Zealand for recipients to enhance their understanding of the aviation industry.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • candidate must be enrolled in Year Two of the NMIT Certificate in Aviation Engineering in 2023.

Documents required:

  • Two Character/work references
  • A statement of approx. 300 words stating your future career plans within the aviation industry along with an example of how you have shown leadership within the community or with fellow students.
  • Provide a copy of your year one transcripts
  • The applicant may also need to attend a scholarship panel interview if required.
