  • African Economic Research Consortium is offering AERC Master's and Ph.D. Bridge Program Fellowships, 2017 to students from sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Applicants must be citizens of one of the under-represented countries mentioned in the scholarship. 
  • Applicants must be admitted into any of the following three programs:
    • Collaborative Masters Programme (CMAP) in Economics
    • Collaborative Masters in Agricultural and Applied Economics (CMAAE) Program
    • Collaborative Ph.D. Programme (CPP) in Economics
  • Masters bridge program applicants must have obtained at least an upper second class Bachelor's honors degree in Agribusiness Management, Economics, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics or a similar field.
  • First degree in Agricultural Economics or Economics or a relevant field is required.
  • Ph.D. bridge program applicants must have obtained a Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural, and Applied Economics or related fields from a recognized institution.
  • Female candidates are encouraged to apply for AERC Master's and Ph.D. Bridge Program Fellowships, 2017.
  • Applicants of AERC Master's and Ph.D. Bridge Program Fellowships, 2017 should submit the following documents before the deadline:
    • Application cover letter specifying which fellowship (Masters or Ph.D.) they are applying for
    • Certified copies of transcripts and certificates
    • At least two original letters of recommendation
