Value of Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) ARIES at University of Kent 2025:

  • A doctoral stipend equivalent to the UK Research Councils National Minimum Doctoral Stipend, currently £20,780 per year.
  • Tuition fees at the Home rate are covered.
  • Additional research funding is provided.
  • For international candidates, the University of Kent will waive the difference between Home and International tuition fees.
