A.C.T. Award

The A.C.T. Award is established by Ira Hoffecker-Sattler and Matthias Hoffecker, and it provides financial support to students with protected person or refugee status.

Eligibility criteria for the A.C.T. Award:

Applicants must be enrolled in any program at RRU.
The applicants must demonstrate reasonable financial need.
Applicants must have protected person or refugee status, including refugees who have been granted permanent resident status.
On page 2 of their application essay, the applicants must include a letter from an immigration consultant confirming their protected person or refugee status.
The applicants must be active in their program after the competition deadline date.

Application process for the A.C.T. Award:

The applicants must submit their application online through MyAdmin on the university's website.
The full list of awards available in each competition can be viewed after logging in.
The applicants must submit one one-page essay that addresses eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition, along with their name written in the top margin.
