Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown Award for Early Childhood and Education at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown Award for Early Childhood and Education is designed to support students enrolled in the Early Childhood Care and Education program who demonstrate both financial need and a strong commitment to community service. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown, this award recognizes students who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer work and civic engagement while pursuing a career dedicated to the development and education of young children.

Eligibility requirement for Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown Award for Early Childhood and Education at Holland College:

• Be enrolled in the Early Childhood Care and Education program.
• Be a resident of Prince Edward Island (PEI).
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Submit an essay describing their community involvement and volunteer experience.
• Provide a letter of reference from an organization where they have volunteered.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student
