 Aberdeen Global Scholarships ease financial burden and help international students transition smoothly into life in Aberdeen, while focusing on their academic and personal growth in a supportive and vibrant community.

Eligibility criteria for the Aberdeen Global Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be new, self-funded international students.
  • Hold an offer for a full-time, on-campus postgraduate Master’s program at the University of Aberdeen.
  • Be starting their studies in September 2025 or January 2026.
  • Be classified as having international fee status.
  • Not be in receipt of any external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships,
    • Exception: Awards from the University of Aberdeen Development Trust are allowed.
  • Not be enrolled in the following programmes: DPLP, PGDE, or Dentistry

Value of the Aberdeen Global Scholarship:

An £8,000 tuition fee waiver, automatically deducted from the tuition fees.

Application Procedure:

The Aberdeen Global Scholarship does not require an application. It is automatically applied to all eligible students and will be reflected on their CAS.
