Trinity College Dublin is providing ABEI/HADDAD Fellowship to students of Brazil who wish to study Master's program in Irish Studies.
Eligibility criteria for the ABEI/HADDAD Fellowship:
- Students applying for ABEI/HADDAD Fellowship must have completed their undergraduate degree or must have enrolled on a postgraduate degree with at least one module finished.
- The average must be greater than 7 for an undergraduate degree while for a postgraduate degree, A or B should be secured.
- The candidate must be an ABEI member and be up-to-date with the annual payment.
- Students taking part in exchange programs are ineligible to apply for ABEI/HADDAD Fellowship.
- The Trinity application number must be included on their application form.
- The winner should be aware that the stipend will be paid from October 2022 to September 2023, after the forms are correctly filled out.
- Brazilian nationals who hold dual European citizenship are not eligible for this scholarship programme
Documents required:
- A copy of the student’s passport, which must be valid at least until the end of the exchange programme.
- Personal letter (up to 500 words). The candidate must explain how they intend to contribute to the ABEI/Haddad Fellowship programme and demonstrate convinc¬ingly their commitment to the programme.
- Registration form. Download the form on the ABEI website.
- Academic CV (students must present their Lattes CV).
- A copy of the candidate’s original transcripts. If the candidate’s overall grade is not shown, a document showing their overall grade must also be presented.
- Letter of interest in English (1000–1500 words). Candidates must explain why they chose the course, their academic interests, and how their research project or the ongoing study programme will benefit, apart from demonstrating their commitment to Irish Studies.
