    • Residents in their first, second, or third year of general psychiatry training are eligible.
  • Triple Boarders at the PGY1 – PGY3 level are also eligible.
  • Participants must either be members of AACAP or have a membership application pending at the time of application.
  • Participants must attend all Annual Meeting events specified by AACAP and are required to sign up as an Annual Meeting monitor.

Application Process for AACAP Educational Outreach Program For General Psychiatry Residents:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

  • Most recent Curriculum Vitae,
  • Personal statement articulating a compelling reason for wanting to attend the Annual Meeting,
  • The Residency Program Director must upload a completed form indicating good standing from the candidate's training program, along with a letter of support.

Value of AACAP Educational Outreach Program For General Psychiatry Residents:

  • A maximum of USD 1,200 will be paid after the meeting to attend the 2024 AACAP Annual Meeting.
