The 3M National Student Fellowship aims to foster a community of forward-thinking student leaders who show exceptional leadership and creativity by identifying existing needs in higher education or society and taking action to bring about change.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be current full-time students at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Applicants must have completed at least one full semester of study at the time of nomination.
- Applicants are not eligible if they have already been awarded a 3M student fellowship.
- Applicants must exhibit superior academic standing.
Application Process:
- Eligible candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
- Cover page.
- Nomination letters, letters of support, and statements from the vice president of students.
- Official transcripts until the most recent education.
- And other documents as requested by the provider.
Value of the Fellowship:
- Selected fellows can avail of the following benefits:
- CAD 2,000.
- Recognition in STLHE and 3M Canada social media, and partnering media.
- Certificate and recognition at the annual Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) conference in June.
- Letter from STLHE President and 3M Canada.
- STLHE membership for two years.
