Chevening scholarships at Bangor University 2024/25

The UK government's worldwide scholarship program, known as Chevening, is supported by partner organizations and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Recipients of the scholarships must be exceptional students with leadership potential. Chevening Scholars frequently choose to attend Bangor University, thus Bangor University is happy to sponsor this scholarship program.

Eligibility for Chevening scholarships at Bangor University:

• Talented professionals recognized as future leaders in a variety of domains, including politics, business, the media, civil society, academia, and religion, are eligible to apply for Chevening Scholarships.
• Candidates ought to be exceptional graduates possessing the interpersonal, intellectual, and personal traits required for leadership.
• Students from more than 160 nations and territories throughout the world are eligible to apply for Chevening Scholarships (except the USA and the EU).

• Please be aware that you can submit your Chevening Application without first obtaining an offer letter from the colleges of your choice. This won't affect your chances of making it past the preliminary stages of selection.  Please only apply to study at Bangor University if you are asked to an interview by Chevening after passing the first round of selection.
• By November 7, 2023, applications must be submitted online through the Chevening website.
