Australia Awards Scholarships - Bangladesh 2023

Eligibility for Australia Awards Scholarships for Bangladesh students:

• The candidates applying for Australia Awards Scholarships Bangladesh should be citizens of Bangladesh.
• The applicants should reside in Bangladesh and apply for the scholarship from there.
• The candidates should not hold or not be eligible to hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency at any phase of application, selection or mobilization.
• The applicants should be serving military personnel and should not apply for another Australian award unless they have resided in Australia for twice the length of the total time that they were in Australia.
• The candidates are expected to have work experience of two years and should meet the admission requirements of the institution they are where the aware will be undertaken. 
• The applicants should have at least a bachelor's level qualification and meet the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to hold a Foreign Affairs or Defence Sector (Subclass 500) visa.
• The candidates should have IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, at least 580 on TOEFL paper-based test and 237 on the computer-based test, at least 92 on the internet-based score.

Documents required:

• The applicants for Australia Awards Scholarships Bangladesh should submit a curriculum vitae, bachelor's certificates, and academic transcripts.
• The candidates should also submit English language proficiency proof, two academic referee reports, and passport for citizenship proof.
• The applicants should also submit an employee referee report, a research proposal, and a development impact plan.

Selection Criteria:

• The candidates applying for Australia Awards Scholarships Bangladesh are assessed based on their professional and personal leadership skills and potential outcome of the research including contribution to development in Bangladesh.
• The applicants are also evaluated on the basis of their academic competence.
