The Zell Miller Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program for Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement.
Eligibility Criteria for Zell Miller Scholarship at Georgia Institute of Technology:
- Be legal residents of Georgia.
- Graduate from high school with:
- 3.70 cumulative GPA (as calculated by GSFC) AND
- 1200 SAT (combined Reading and Math) OR 25 ACT composite score.
- Meet all HOPE Scholarship eligibility requirements.
- Be enrolled in an eligible degree-seeking undergraduate program at a Georgia postsecondary institution.
- Not be required to enroll full-time, but enrollment in credit-bearing courses is necessary.
Application Process:
Students must submit a Georgia Tech Application or FAFSA or Georgia Student Financial Aid Application to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
- Covers 100% of in-state tuition at eligible Georgia institutions.
- For 2025–2026, the maximum award is $10,512 for two semesters at 15 credit hours each.
- Summer tuition is paid per credit hour, in addition to the annual maximum.
