YU - Einstein Medical Scholars:

The Yeshiva University-Einstein Medical Scholars Program provides high-achieving undergraduate students with an early assurance pathway to medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria for the YU-Einstein Medical Scholars:

• The applicants must apply and be accepted to either the S. Daniel Abraham Honors Program (Stern College for Women) or the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program 
• The applicants applying for a program in the Sy Syms School of Business are not eligible for this scholarship program.
• The applicants must have a high school cumulative GPA of 94 or better.
• The applicants must earn a minimum SAT score of 1480 (combined Critical Reading and Math) or a minimum ACT score of 33.
• The United States citizens, lawful permanent residents (not pending or conditional), and asylee status students are eligible to apply.

Academic requirements:

• The applicants must maintain a science GPA of 3.75 and an overall GPA of 3.75
• The applicants should take 32 credits of core, pre-med courses (BCPM) at Yeshiva University
• The applicants should participate in scientific and/or clinical research during the summers between academic years, at AECOM, Yeshiva University, or elsewhere, as approved by the Director of the Medical Scholars Program

• Program participants are offered research and clinical experience opportunities with faculty at AECOM and Montefiore Medical Center
