1000Women4STEM Award - Diploma at NorQuest College 2027:

The 1000Women4STEM Award – Diploma helps students achieve their educational and career goals by providing financial assistance to self-funded learners enrolled in eligible STEM diploma programs. Applicants must not receive other sponsorship, grants, or bursaries that cover tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees.

Eligibility Criteria for the 1000Women4STEM Award - Diploma at NorQuest College 2027:

• Applicant must self-identify as a woman. For this award, 'women' includes individuals who identify as transgender women or cisgender women.
• Applicant must have applied for admission to an eligible STEM diploma program for the Fall 2027 term. An admission decision is not required at the time of applying for the award.
• Applicant must demonstrate financial need, based on family income and a moderate standard of living.
• Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Applicant must not be receiving other sponsorship, grants, or bursaries that cover tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees. This includes, but is not limited to, Learner Benefits, Workers’
• Compensation Board (WCB) funding, Aboriginal funding, and Advancing Futures funding.
• Applicant must be applying to one of the following eligible diploma programs:
  • Arts and Science Diploma
  • Energy Management
  • Environmental Technician
  • Machine Learning Analyst.

Application Process for the 1000Women4STEM Award - Diploma at NorQuest College 2027:

• Applicant must first complete the General Application.
• After completing the General Application, the applicant will be presented with a Recommended Opportunity for the 1000Women4STEM Award.
• Applicant must complete both the General Application and the 1000Women4STEM Award Recommended Opportunity and upload the required family income documents.

Supplemental Questions:

• Applicant must upload proof of income from their most recent tax return, such as a T4 slip or Notice of Assessment.
• Applicant must upload proof of their spouse’s income from their most recent tax return, such as a T4 slip or Notice of Assessment.
• If the applicant’s spouse is unwilling to provide proof of income, the applicant must submit an explanation.

Value of the Award:

• Up to CAD 22,000 is awarded to the recipient.
