William H McCardell Memorial Scholarship in Forest Science 2024

The University of Alberta has initiated William H McCardell Memorial International Scholarship, for all international students enrolling in master's or PhD courses of study for the academic year 2024.

Eligibility criteria for the William H McCardell Memorial Scholarship in Forest Science, 2024:

• The nominee has to be enrolled in a graduate program in forestry.
• awarded to applicants who have a strong interest in wildland recreation or forest ecology
• Available to residents of Canada.
• Available to permanent residents.
• Available to international nationals with valid study visas in Canada.
• Available to candidates for PhD programs.
• Open to candidates pursuing master's degrees.
• Available to students enrolled in programs with a course component.
• Available to students enrolled in thesis-based study programs.

Value of the William H McCardell Memorial Scholarship in Forest Science:

Successful applicants of the William H McCardell Memorial Scholarship in Forest Science 2024 will receive a scholarship value of $3,000.

Application Process:

For information on the application procedure, students can get in touch with their department. The Department submits nominations to FGSR (or Faculty). The ultimate decision is made by the Graduate Scholarship Committee.
