WEM Civil Scholarship for Construction and Engineering at University of Technology Sydney 2025

Overview:

The Scholarship offers Construction and/or Engineering students the opportunity to receive a cash grant to support their studies as well as the opportunity to undertake a paid work placement with WEM Civil.

Eligibility for WEM Civil Scholarship for Construction and Engineering at University UTS:

• Australian or New Zealand citizens, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
• Enrolled in the first or second year of a UTS:
  • Bachelor of Construction Project Management course; or
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice course (majoring in Civil Engineering or Civil and Environmental Engineering); or
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), or Combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) course (with a major in Civil Engineering or Civil and Environmental Engineering); and
• Continuing Students:
  • must have achieved Credit Average (WAM 65+) in their first year of study.
• All candidates must be available to attend an interview in person.
• Please note previous Recipients of the WEM Scholarship are not eligible to reapply.

Selection process:

• Motivation and interest in their chosen UTS course;
• Personal experience and achievement;
• Preference may be given to academic merit (WAM and ATAR)
