Eligibility for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) - Postgraduate:
For 50% Scholarship:
- The applicant must reside in one of the following nations: the USA, Mexico, Central America, South America, Thailand, Turkey, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, or the United States.
- For fee purposes, the candidate needs to be considered an international student.
- For the 2024–2025 academic year, the candidate must have the offer to enroll in an appropriate Master's program at the University of Newcastle's city center campus.
- The applicant must already possess, or anticipate obtaining, the equivalent of a UK honors degree at least upper second class.
For 100% Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a resident of India or the Ukraine.
- For fee purposes, the candidate needs to be classified as an international student.
- For the 2024–2025 academic year, students should have an offer for a Master's degree program at the University of Newcastle's city center.
- The candidate must possess or anticipate obtaining the equivalent of a UK honors degree at least upper second class.
