Introduction:

The Buurabalayji Thalanyji Travel Research Grant is a coursework scholarship offered by the University of Western Australia (UWA) in partnership with the Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation (BTAC). The grant supports and encourages a high-achieving student undertaking a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Archaeology.

Eligibility requirements for the Buurabalayji Thalanyji Travel Research Grant at the University of Western Australia:

Applicants must be domestic students, and preference is given to an Australian Indigenous person, with special encouragement for applicants from the Thalanyji membership.
Must have applied for a place in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in Archaeology and must not have yet completed study toward the Bachelor of Arts

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 40,000.
