Overview:
To support commencing international students from South Asia who wish to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.
Eligibility for UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship – South Asia:
To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
- Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia); and
- Be a citizen of a country in the South Asia region (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka); and
- Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate (including Honours programs) or postgraduate coursework program; and commence full-time and on campus (Sydney)[1]; and
- Must not be:
- Studying a UTS online degree or distance degree; or
- A recipient of other UTS scholarships or grants, or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program, for the duration of this Scholarship, and be a government-sponsored student.
Selection process:
- For undergraduate admission, academic merit is used as the basis of admission for entry into the selected UTS undergraduate program.
- For postgraduate admission, academic merit in the most recently completed and recognised qualification, or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam), or Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test) (both tests accepted for admission into UTS Business School programs only), for entry into the selected postgraduate coursework program.
Application Process:
- UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship.
- There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the course application.
- Offers will be authorised by UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions.
