Eligibility for UQ PhD Industry Placement Award:

Applicants must:

Be a current UQ PhD candidate (full-time or part-time).
Be a domestic or international student.
Be on an external living stipend or not receiving any stipend.
Not hold a 4-year funded stipend.
Complete a Graduate School–approved HDR Industry Placement of at least 60 working days.
Register and gain approval for the placement via myUQ within 18 months of commencement.
Complete the placement at least one month before stipend expiry and submit all required reports.

Value of UQ PhD Industry Placement Award:

The prize is valued at AUD $9,100 and is paid as a one-off award upon successful completion of the industry placement.
