Eligibility Criteria for UO Excellence Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be a nonresident (out-of-state or international) first-year undergraduate student.
  • Apply for admission to the University of Oregon.
  • Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement through their admission application and academic transcripts.
  • Submit all required admission materials by the stated deadlines.
  • Enroll in the fall term of their first year.
  • Maintain enrollment in at least 12 University of Oregon credits per term to retain the scholarship.

Value of UO Excellence Scholarship:

Recipients receive USD $20,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, for a total potential award of USD $80,000.
