University of New South Wales (UNSW) has initiated the project UNSW PhD Scholarship in Energy Storage, 2021 which offers the PhD candidate an opportunity to enter an exciting critical field for energy storage and be part of an international leading research team.

Project Description:

This project is supported by the ARC Research Hub for Integrated Energy Storage Solutions at UNSW which conducts research in securing a reliable and economically efficient energy supply. This particular project involves research into flow batteries, including iron and vanadium-based systems. 

Eligibility criteria for the UNSW PhD Scholarship in Energy Storage, 2021:

  • The scholarship is open to both international and domestic applicants. 
  • Applicant is expected to hold the equivalent  of a First-Class Honours degree in Engineering or Chemistry. The candidate must meet the UNSW admission requirements for the higher Degree Research UNSW.
  • Applicant must demonstrate research capability (through undergraduate or Masters thesis) in engineering or chemistry.
  • Applicant must possess excellent communication, teamwork and management skills.
