Eligibility Criteria for the University of Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be an international fee-paying student.
  • Be admitted to a full-time, first-year degree program at Waterloo starting in September 2026.
  • Be enrolled full-time (three or more courses) in first and second terms at Waterloo.
  • Continue to be an international fee-paying student at the time of receiving the scholarship.
  • Meet the conditions of your Offer of Admission to Waterloo.

Successful applicants of the University of Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship will receive $10,000 from the university.
