Overview

The University of Strathclyde's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign, is pleased to award four GREAT Scholarships to students from Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, and Pakistan who are pursuing postgraduate studies in justice and law. International postgraduate students from a limited number of countries are supported to take advantage of top-notch UK higher education prospects through the GREAT Scholarships 2024 initiative, which the British Council introduced in collaboration with 72 UK universities.

Eligibility for University of Strathclyde - British Council GREAT Scholarships for Justice and Law:

  • By the beginning of the academic year in September 2024, the applicant must be able to begin studies in the UK.
  • The candidate must have paid the deposit for their tuition by June 28, 2024. 
  • Applicants must enroll as fee-paying international students; applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, or Pakistan.
  • The University of Strathclyde should have extended an offer of study for a full-time postgraduate law degree to applicants. The following programs are the only ones where this scholarship is offered:
    • LLM Law, LLM/MSc Criminal Justice and Penal Change; LLM/MSc Mediation and Conflict Resolution; LLM Global Environmental Law and Governance; LLM Human Rights Law; LLM International Commercial Law; LLM Construction Law.
