Overview

The scholarships are competitive grants that can be applied to the tuition of an undergraduate program beginning in September 2024 and total GBP 10,000 in prizes. New international undergraduate students who fulfill the requirements are eligible for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Sheffield International Baccalaureate Merit Scholarship:

  • Students need to be pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma or already possess one.
  • Students must be offered a place in the University of Sheffield's undergraduate or foundation degree program, either full or part-time, starting in September 2024. 
  • Student must be able to pay the foreign tuition charge on their own and be self-funded for tuition fees.

Selection Criteria:

  • Applicant has provided instances of their accomplishments in extracurricular, volunteer, and academic settings that demonstrate leadership and quality.
  • The applicant has explained how these accomplishments relate to the University of Sheffield course they are applying for and how that relates to their long-term goals.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
