The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background who have a keen interest in economics and a demonstrated need for financial support.

Eligibility Criteria Economics Undergraduate Indigenous Scholarship:

Students are classified as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons.
Students should be enrolled or intend to enroll full-time in the Bachelor of Economics or dual program in the year of the award.
Students must demonstrate financial need
Students should not hold another scholarship that the Head of School deems similar
Students must have not completed any prior study at the bachelor level or above.

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated financial need
Demonstrated interest in economics
Personal qualities, including leadership potential
Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

Students will receive up to 100% tuition fee waiver.
