Overview

For students who receive a first or 2.1 in year 0 and go on to year 1 at the University of Essex in the academic year 2024–2025, the university is giving a scholarship of up to £1,500.

Eligibility for University of Essex Pathways Bursary:

  • During the academic year 2023–2024, the applicant must have finished year 0 at the University of Essex.
  • The candidate needs to have received a first-class or 2.1 in year 0.
  • Beginning in October 2024–2025, the candidate should enroll in a full-time undergraduate degree program that will lead to the awarding of an integrated master's degree after four years of study, or a bachelor's degree.
  • This scholarship is only available for the first academic year in 2024–2025.
  • This scholarship could be given in addition to other university grants.
  • Selected candidates need to be available for publicity events.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • If students get a first in year 0, they will be awarded £1,500.
  • If students receive a 2.1 in year 0, they will receive £1000.
