University of Edinburgh Business School Doctoral Scholarship 2026

The University of Edinburgh Business School values doctoral research highly because it contributes new perspectives, ideas, and enthusiasm that are essential to maintaining a strong research culture. The School is seeking doctorate candidates who possess a strong research enthusiasm and the ability to complete work quickly and with significant effect. The institution is aware that enrolling in a PhD program can be expensive, though. To facilitate the study of highly accomplished persons from many nations and backgrounds, the School is providing several fully-funded scholarships. An applicant wishing to pursue their study subject in one of the academic research fields will get each scholarship.

Eligibility for University of Edinburgh Business School Doctoral Scholarships at the University of Edinburgh:

• Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer in one of the Doctoral programs.
• Applicants must commence their studies in September 2025.
• Applicants must secure above-average academic achievement, typically 65% or above at the Masters level, with a distinction-level dissertation or the overseas equivalent.
  • For a PhD in Financial Technology, a Master's with a distinction classification or the overseas equivalent.
  • For applicants to the PhD with Integrated Study programs, applicants who do not hold a Master are considered if they have a First at the Undergraduate level, or the international equivalent, with a mark of 70 or more in the dissertation module.
• Applicants must meet the English requirements for the PhD program.
