Eligibility for University of Chester Sports Scholarships (Gold):
- Current and future University of Chester undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to apply for sports scholarships.
- The candidate must be actively participating in national and international competitions for their sport. This involves actively participating in national leagues and competitions or holding a national rating in a certain sport.
- To represent the University of Chester in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions, each Sports Scholar must be enrolled at the university.
- The candidate must meet all academic standards and demonstrate that they are making sufficient progress toward the next level of their course for current students applying.
- An unconditional or conditional offer of a place in a full-time or part-time course of study at the University of Chester is required of prospective students.
