AMC Architecture Accommodation Scholarship University of Canberra 2025

Purpose of the Scholarship:

This scholarship aims to assist new commencing domestic students from a rural, regional, and remote area in Australia to secure on-campus accommodation. Students must demonstrate financial disadvantage and volunteering and community engagement.

Eligibility for the Accommodation Scholarship:

• Applicants must be domestic students from a rural, regional, or remote area in Australia residing in on-campus accommodation.
• Applicants must have enrolled in a 3-year Undergraduate Architecture degree.
• Applicants must demonstrate commitment to their studies, community endeavour and financial need. 

Application Process:

Applicants need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Selection criteria:

The Selection Committee is comprised of representatives from Global Student Recruitment, Student Connect, Student Life, and relevant faculties. The committee will consider the following parameters in the application form:

• 50% Financial need
• 25% Barriers or challenges faced
• 25% Volunteer/Community Engagement/Leadership roles/work experience

Value of the Scholarship:

The value of each scholarship is determined by AMC Architecture Pty Ltd and is currently valued at $8,000, paid in 2 equal installments ($4,000) in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
