Eligibility for University of Auckland Research Masters Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be applying for an approved research masters degree that includes a research component of at least 90 points
Be enrolling in a programme that establishes eligibility for doctoral (PhD) study
Have completed their most recent qualifying programme at a recognised university
Have achieved a minimum GPA of 8.00 in their most recent qualifying programme
Be enrolled full-time, or part-time where socially compelling reasons justify part-time study
Not have already commenced the masters programme for which the scholarship is sought
Enrol by the next available semester after receiving the scholarship offer

Value of the Auckland Research Masters Scholarship:

The scholarship will comprise a stipend of up to NZD 14,346 per annum, plus compulsory fees, for up to one year. Payments and tenure will be pro-rated for part-time students.
