University of Auckland Indonesia High Achievers Scholarship 2026:

The University of Auckland Indonesia High Achievers Scholarship supports high-achieving Indonesian international students commencing eligible master's degree programmes at the University of Auckland. The scholarship aims to attract academically strong international students and provide financial assistance towards their tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Indonesia High Achievers Scholarship 2026:

  • Applicant must be an international student.
  • Applicant must hold a passport issued by the government of Indonesia.
  • Applicant must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to an eligible master's programme at the University of Auckland.
  • Applicant must have an Admissions GPE of at least 7.0.
  • Applicant must not have already commenced study at the University of Auckland.
  • Applicant must not have undertaken any tertiary-level study in New Zealand, excluding a student exchange programme.
  • Applicant must not be enrolling as a distance education student, including at the University of Auckland Online.
  • Applicants enrolling in the Graduate School of Management (GSM) must be entering one of the following programmes:
    • Master of Applied Finance
    • Master of Business Analytics
    • Master of Professional Accounting

Application Process for the University of Auckland Indonesia High Achievers Scholarship 2026:

  • No general scholarship application is required.
  • Eligible applicants will be invited to complete a supplementary application form through the online application portal supplied by the Scholarships Office.

Selection Criteria:

  • The scholarship is granted by the Vice-Chancellor following a recommendation from the selection committee.
  • The selection committee comprises the Director International or nominee and two faculty Associate Deans (International).
  • Applicant must be eligible or conditionally eligible for admission to the master's programme for which the scholarship is being considered.
  • Selection is based primarily on:
    • Academic merit, as assessed by the Admissions GPE.
    • Quality of the personal statement.
  • The alignment of the intended programme with the strategic objectives of the University may also be considered.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • A tuition fee credit of 25% of the value of one year of tuition fees.

Notes:

  • Accept the scholarship offer by the deadline stated in the award notification.
  • Complete at least two consecutive semesters of full-time study.
  • Confirm unconditional enrolment and pay all required fees by the applicable deadline.
  • Repay the full scholarship amount if the required study period is not completed.
  • Do not hold the scholarship with another University of Auckland International Office tuition-fee scholarship.
  • Obtain the Director’s approval before accepting any other scholarship, award, grant, or bursary.
  • Deferral is permitted only for compelling medical reasons or adverse personal circumstances beyond the recipient’s control.
