About the Scholarship:
In 2024, UniSQ will award several Residential College Scholarships to support students residing at UniSQ Residential Colleges in Toowoomba either commencing or continuing their studies in an undergraduate program. Each scholarship is for a maximum of one year and is to be used towards Semester/Trimester accommodation at the UniSQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba campus.
Eligibility for the UniSQ Residential College Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Australian citizens, have permanent resident status, or be New Zealand citizens residing permanently in Australia.
- Candidates should be experiencing financial need and be commencing or continuing their studies at UniSQ in an undergraduate program, and continuing students – must demonstrate satisfactory academic standing (GPA of at least 4.0).
- Students must be residing or intending to reside at one of the UniSQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba campus, and not be a residents of Steele Rudd College, Blocks A or B.
- Candidates should have their principal place of residence at least 50 kilometers from the UniSQ Toowoomba campus.
- Applicants must be enrolled or be intending to enroll on-campus, external, or online in 2024.
Value of the Scholarship:
- $6000 (for students studying in Trimesters), or
- $7500 (for students studying in Semesters).
Scholarship to be paid as a reduction in Residential College fees across each semester/trimester of 2024.
