The Mastercard Foundation and the University of Capetown are offering scholarships to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Capetown to citizens of Sub-Saharan African countries.

Eligibility for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholarships, University Of Cape Town, 2022:

• The candidates applying for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholarships, University of Cape Town, 2022 should be citizens or residents of a Sub-Saharan African country.
• The applicants should be talented academically and should be driven to complete their education.
• The candidates should be facing financial difficulties for accessing education.
• The students should return to their home country after completing the studies .
• The applicants are expected to be admitted to the University of Capetown to be eligible for the scholarship.
• The candidates applying for master's program should have 60% for the honors.
• The students should apply for Engineering and Built Environment, Sciences, Law, Commerce, Health Sciences, or Engineering at the university.
• The applicants are expected to have leadership skills and community service.

Documents required

• The applicants for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholarships, University of Cape Town, 2017 should submit a curriculum vitae containing academic and professional experience, skills and extra-curricular activities participation not exceeding 2 pages.
• The candidates should submit academic transcripts, a copy of passport, and two referee reports.
• The students should submit an essay of 2000 words explaining the community services of the applicant, leadership skills, and how will they contribute to the development of their country.
• The applicants should provide proof of registration if they are registered in a degree.
• The candidates should provide the translation of the documents if they are not in English.
