Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Excellence Awards in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Galway 2025:

  • Applicants must enroll in an eligible undergraduate program.

Value of Undergraduate Excellence Awards in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Galway 2025:

  • €10,000 Excellence Scholarship for two students in the School of Biological & Chemical Sciences (offered for four years)
  • €10,000 for one student each in the Schools of Engineering and Natural Sciences (offered for four years)
  • €10,000 per year for one student in the School of Science, Mathematical & Statistical Sciences.
  • €2,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the Mathematical & Statistical Sciences.
  • €5,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the School of Science, Biological & Chemical Sciences and Natural Sciences.
  • €5,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the School of Computer Science.
  • Three Excellence scholarships worth €10,000 per year in the School of Computer Science.

All eligible candidates who accept their offer and have paid their deposit by Thursday, May 1, 2025, will be automatically considered.
