Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Excellence Awards in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Galway 2025:

Applicants must be from outside the EU.
Applicants must enroll in an eligible undergraduate program.
Applicants must accept their offer and pay their deposit.

Value of Undergraduate Excellence Awards in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Galway 2025:

€10,000 Excellence Scholarship for two students in the School of Biological & Chemical Sciences (offered for four years)
€10,000 for one student each in the Schools of Engineering and Natural Sciences (offered for four years)
€10,000 per year for one student in the School of Science, Mathematical & Statistical Sciences.
€2,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the Mathematical & Statistical Sciences.
€5,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the School of Science, Biological & Chemical Sciences and Natural Sciences.
€5,000 per year merit award for all successful applicants in the School of Computer Science.
Three Excellence scholarships worth €10,000 per year in the School of Computer Science.

All eligible candidates who accept their offer and have paid their deposit by Thursday, May 1, 2025, will be automatically considered.
