Eligibility for UEA Studentships, 2018-19:

  • The applicants for UEA Studentships, 2018 should have or expect to obtain a minimum of 2:1 first degree and a good master's degree with a dissertation mark of at least 65%.
  • The candidates applying for a 1+3 studentship are required to have or expect to obtain a relevant undergraduate degree. 
  •  The candidates applying for UEA Studentships, 2018 who have studied outside of the UK should have or expect to obtain equivalent qualifications to the qualifications mentioned above.
  • The applicants should apply to the Ph.D. and indicate that they should be considered for the studentship.
  • The EU and International applicants must provide evidence of competence in the English Language.

Value of UEA Studentships, 2018-19:

  • The recipients of UEA Studentships, 2018 get tuition fees at UK/EU rates and a maintenance grant of up to £14,553 per year.
  • The recipients also get a research training support grant.

*NOTE:  Value of Studentship(currently £14,553 per year) and if any alterations will be confirmed once available. EU students will normally only be eligible for a fees-only award.
