The Udall Undergraduate Scholarship honors the legacies of Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall, whose careers significantly impacted Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources. Future leaders in environmental policy, tribal public policy, and health care are identified through the Scholarship Program.
Eligibility Criteria:

- Applicants must be pursuing programs in environmental, Tribal public policy, and health care fields.
Value of the Scholarship:
The Udall Foundation anticipates awarding 55 scholarships of $7,000 each.
Application Process:
Candidates need to submit an online application.
Udall's application will consist of:
- An application consisting of eleven questions
- Eight hundred words explaining the main principles of the Udall Foundation.
- All college course transcripts
- Three recommendation letters addressing your leadership, community involvement, and academic performance.
Note: Additional documentation is required for applicants in Tribal public policy and health care, and eligible U.S. permanent residents.
