The UCD Iseult Honohan Doctoral Scholarship aims to attract top academic talent to pursue a PhD in the UCD School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe), offering training, experience, and mentorship for professional development.
Eligibility Criteria for UCD Iseult Honohan Doctoral Scholarship:
- Apply to one of the following UCD programmes:
- PhD Politics and International Relations, or
- PhD Quantitative & Computational Social Science (must have a SPIRe supervisor).
- Hold at least a 2.1 Master’s degree (GPA 3.6).
- Applicants without a completed Master’s may apply but must achieve a final 2.1 to receive the award.
- Not eligible:
- Continuing PhD students
- Students starting outside September
- Students supervised outside SPIRe
- Students transferring only part of their PhD to UCD.
Value of the UCD Iseult Honohan Doctoral Scholarship:
Successful applicants will get a scholarship that covers:
- Full tuition fees (EU and non-EU).
- €25,000 annual stipend, up to 4 years.
