Applicants must:

  • Be a self-funded international student (non-EU for fee purposes) entering the International Foundation Year (IFY) at University College Dublin International Study Centre (UCD ISC).
  • Not be a sponsored student.
  • Meet UCD ISC progression requirements and all conditions of the offer to be eligible for the full-time UCD degree tuition scholarship.
  • Have sufficient funds to cover remaining living costs, travel, and other study-related costs.
  • Be continuously enrolled full-time and maintain satisfactory academic progress to retain the scholarship each year.

Value of UCD International Foundation Year Pathway at University College Dublin 2026:

  • International Foundation Year (IFY) at UCD ISC:
    • Up to €7,000 towards IFY tuition. 
  • Undergraduate degree at UCD (progression):
    • For Business, Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities:
      • €2,000 per academic year of the UCD degree.
    • For Engineering & Sciences:
      • €4,000 per academic year of the UCD degree.
