Tung Doctoral Scholarship 2022 is awarded annually to students from Hong Kong who can prove academic excellence and have been admitted to pursue full time studies at the University of Liverpool.

Eligibility for Tung Doctoral Scholarship 2022:

  • Students from Hong Kong.
  • The scholarships are open to candidates who are or will be studying full time at the main University of Liverpool Campus. Students at other sites are not eligible. 
  • Candidates are required to have made an application to study at the University of Liverpool's main campus.
  • Should submit an application form as well as the documents detailed on the application form.

Application Requirements:

Current scholarship recipients-

  • Completed PG-HKGA application form.
  • A detailed report of your progress during this academic year.
  • Supporting letter from your academic supervisor.
  • Academic CV.
  • 500+ word statement about your year and your goals for returning to Hong Kong or mainland China.

New applicants-

  • Completed PG-HKGA application form.
  • 500-word application statement including evidence of academic excellence and achievement and why you feel you will make a difference on returning to China after completion of your studies.
  • Relevant transcripts.
  • Current students in PG study will need to provide a supporting letter from their academic supervisor.
  • Academic CV.
