Overview

International students who are entering the program and exhibiting exceptional academic accomplishment, community service, leadership potential, and a small financial need will be offered this renewable scholarship. The Trent University tuition and required ancillary fees are funded by the Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards up to $40,000 each academic year and up to $160,000 for a four-year degree.

Eligibility for Trent University's International Global Citizen Scholarships And Awards in Canada:

  • Applicants must identify as international students.
  • Applicants must hold overseas fee-paying status.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at the university for the Winter 2026, Summer 2026, or Fall 2026 intake.
  • Applicants must surpass the university admission requirements and the English language proficiency requirements.
  • Applicants must have a final high school average of 80% or more.

All eligible candidates must complete an online application form to be considered for the scholarship.
