Eligibility

The Traffic21 Institute - Women in Transportation Fellowship is available to admitted U.S. citizens and permanent residents pursuing a master’s program at Heinz College.
The fellowship is designed for students who have shown strong interest in advancing women in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
Part-time students also qualify, receiving a proportional scholarship based on their course load.

Application Process

To apply, candidates must first be admitted to a master’s program at Heinz College.
During the application, they should demonstrate their commitment to promoting women in smart transportation through essays or interviews.

Value/Benefits

The fellowship provides 100% tuition coverage for the duration of the master's program.
Fellows will also receive a $6,000 annual stipend for their internship at Traffic21 Institute, requiring 10-12 hours of work per week during the fall and spring semesters.
