The Trades and Apprenticeship Deans Scholarship – Trades Apprenticeship recognises Okanagan College students who demonstrate academic achievement after completing the final level of an eligible Trades Apprenticeship programme and intend to pursue a career in their chosen field.

Eligibility Criteria for the Trades and Apprenticeship Deans Scholarship – Trades Apprenticeship at Okanagan College 2026:

  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must intend to pursue a career in their chosen field of study.
  • Applicant must have completed the final level of an eligible Trades Apprenticeship programme at any Okanagan College campus.
  • Applicant must have completed an eligible trades programme, with awards rotating annually among the following programme groups:
    • Automotive, Collision/Motor Vehicle Repair, Heavy Duty Equipment, and Recreation Vehicle Service
    • Carpenter, Culinary Arts, and Electrician
    • Plumber, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal Worker, Steamfitter/Pipefitter, and Welding Service Technician
  • Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement.
  • Applicant must be in good standing.
