The TMCF Department of Defense (DOD) Scholarship, 2017 is open to students who wish to pursue undergraduate courses in STEM disciplines.
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates applying for TMCF Department of Defense (DOD) Scholarship, 2017 must be high-school seniors graduating in 2017 with at least a cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants must haven and secured at least a grade of “B” in Pre-calculus or higher math course.
- Candidates must require financial support.
- Applicants must be citizens of U.S or permanent residents with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
- Applicants of TMCF Department of Defense (DOD) Scholarship, 2017 must be intending to and continue to remain full-time students at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
- Candidates must choose a STEM discipline in their undergraduate degree including the mentioned disciplines: geosciences, chemistry, nuclear engineering, physics, civil engineering, biosciences, chemical engineering, mathematics, computer science/technology, computer engineering, environmental science, and mechanical engineering
