The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) Prize in Tourism and/or Hospitality recognises Okanagan College students who demonstrate excellence through an applied project focused on Tourism or Hospitality.

Eligibility Criteria for the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) Prize in Tourism and/or Hospitality at Okanagan College 2026:

  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person, or international student.
  • Applicant must have minimum third-year standing in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree programme.
  • Applicant must be registered in a full-time course load, with a minimum of 9 credits or 60% course load, or 6 credits or 40% course load for students with a permanent disability, at the Kelowna Campus of Okanagan College.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in Events Management and Marketing (BUAD 334) or Services Marketing (BUAD 336) and have completed an applied project focused on Tourism or Hospitality, either individually or as part of a student team.
  • Applicant must demonstrate the quality of the submitted project.
  • Applicant must be in good standing.
