    Introduction:

    This grant is to assist veterinary students entering the fourth year of the Veterinary Science degree to complete 3 weeks of mixed practice clinical placement with Tableland Veterinary Service between the end of the third year and the beginning of the fifth year of the veterinary science program. It is intended to be used for travel and accommodation expenses associated with undertaking this placement at Tableland Veterinary Service.

    Eligibility for The Tableland Veterinary Service Grants Program:

    • Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in year 3 of the BVSc program.
    • Candidates should be committed to undertaking a placement at the Tableland Veterinary Service - Atherton Clinic.
    • Students must commit to supplying a written report upon completion of the placement.
    • Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 4.00.

    Selection Criteria:

    • Academic achievement
    • Alignment with the core values of Tableland Veterinary Service
    • Understanding of life in rural and regional Australia.

    Application Process:

    Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

    Value of the Scholarship:

    Students will receive the value of AUD 1,000 paid in one installment.
