The Sankofa Scholarships

Introduction: 

The Sankofa Scholarships help to support international students of Black/African descent entering an undergraduate degree program at the university.

Eligibility criteria for the Sankofa Scholarships:

  • The applicant must be an international student of Black/African descent.
  • Preference is given to students from the Caribbean, particularly the former British West Indies.
  • The applicant must be enrolling in any undergraduate degree program at the university. 

Application process for the Sankofa Scholarships: 

  • The applicant must complete and submit the Dalhousie General Entrance Award application after applying for admission.
  • The applicant must submit the required documents before the application deadline.
