The Reilly Prize at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The Reilly Prize is an academic award offered by University College Cork (UCC) to recognize outstanding academic achievement in chemistry. Established in memory of the late Professor J. Reilly, who served as Professor and Head of the Chemistry Department from 1924 to 1959

Eligibility criteria for the Reilly Prize at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be a current University College Cork (UCC) student.
• The applicants must be in the fourth year of the BSc (Hons) in Chemistry.
• The applicants must obtain first-class honors in the BSc (Hons) degree examination in chemistry.
• The scholarship is open to all nationals 

Application Process:

• No separate application is required; the Eligible students are automatically considered based on their academic performance

Value of the Scholarship:

• A EUR 500 is awarded to support a full-time student.
