Introduction:

The Professor Gerald Fitzgerald Research Award is a postgraduate research award offered by the School of Microbiology at University College Cork (UCC).

Eligibility criteria for the Professor Gerald Fitzgerald Research Award at University College Cork:

The applicants must be current postgraduate students registered in the School of Microbiology at UCC.
The students are also eligible for up to 12 months after receiving a postgraduate qualification.
The winner will be entered into the SEFS Postgraduate Research Publications of the Year Competition.

Application Process:

The applicants have to submit the application by email to the chair of the School of Microbiology Graduate Studies Committee (GSC).

The value of the scholarship:

EUR 500 is awarded to support a full-time student.
